Description
BJ2Q Series Star-Delta Starter (hereinafter referred to as the starter) is mainly used for AC 50 Hz (or 60 Hz). It has a rated insulation voltage of 690 V. Under utilization category AC-3, at a rated operational voltage of 400 V, its rated current is up to 95 A for controlling three-phase squirrel-cage induction motors with a power rating of 80 kW and below. It switches the stator windings between star and delta connection to realize motor starting, running and stopping. A thermal relay can be fitted to provide overload protection for the motor and its circuit during operation.
This series is not suitable for quick starting or reversing control of motors and therefore is not applicable for utilization category AC-4.
