Description
BK2 Series Control and Protection Switch is mainly used in power systems with AC 50 Hz (60 Hz), rated voltage up to 690 V, rated current from 1 A to 125 A and adjustable operating current from 0.4 A to 125 A. It is capable of making, carrying and breaking currents under normal conditions (including specified overload conditions), as well as making, carrying and breaking currents under specified abnormal conditions such as short circuits.
Adopting a modular single-unit structure, the BK2 series integrates multiple discrete traditional components including circuit breakers (fuses), contactors, overload (overcurrent / phase-failure) protection relays, starters, isolators and comprehensive motor protectors.
It supports both remote automatic control and local manual operation. It features coordinated time-current protection characteristics, self-coordination of control and protection, and continuous operation after short-circuit events. Other advantages include high breaking capacity, small arcing distance, long service life, adjustable protection setting currents, easy operation and a full range of optional accessory modules. It can realize control and protection for motor loads and distribution loads.
