Fire Door Input/Output Monitoring Module
This series of fire door monitoring modules represents a new generation of terminal control and status monitoring units for fire doors, developed in strict compliance with the national standard GB 29364-2012. Serving as the front-end interface of the fire door monitoring system, these modules are responsible for connecting the electromagnetic release mechanisms and magnetic door switches installed on both normally open and normally closed fire doors. Utilizing an M-BUS two-wire bus, the modules transmit real-time open/closed status and fault information—pertaining to single or double fire doors—back to the central monitoring host. Furthermore, in the event of a fire, they precisely receive commands from the host to actuate the release mechanisms, thereby closing normally open fire doors and ensuring the absolute isolation and safety of the building's internal fire compartments.
Description
Product Advantages
1. Status Monitoring and Independent Encoding:
Features highly intelligent, independent encoding technology that provides 24-hour real-time online monitoring of fire door operational status, precisely mapping the location of any faults or alarms directly to the system host.
2. M-BUS Non-Polarized Two-Wire Bus:
Power supply and data communication share a single pair of wires, requiring no distinction between positive and negative polarity. The system supports any distributed wiring topology, reducing installation costs by 50% and effectively preventing wiring errors during construction.
3. Integrated, Minimalist, Ultra-Slim Design:
MK1 (Doorframe-Embedded Type): Features an ultra-slim profile that allows for discreet installation directly within the fire doorframe, ensuring the overall aesthetic integrity of both the door and the surrounding wall remains completely undisturbed.
4. MK2 (Standard “Type 86” Box Type):
Adopts a standard “Type 86” surface-mount design, perfectly compatible with conventional embedded boxes for both high-voltage power and low-voltage signal wiring; this ensures extremely convenient installation for both renovation and new construction projects.
5. Seamless Support for Single and Double Doors:
Each module boasts high compatibility, supporting configurations ranging from a single door equipped with one set of door contacts (MCO/MC1) to a double door equipped with two sets of contacts, thereby flexibly meeting the diverse structural and passageway requirements of various buildings.
6. Ultra-Low Power Consumption and Rapid Response:
With a rated power consumption as low as 0.1W, the system is highly energy-efficient and eco-friendly. In the event of a potential hazard, the system responds within ≤10 seconds, delivering a gold-standard level of response speed.
Applications & Selection
Widely applied to the centralized monitoring and management of fire doors—specifically those located in evacuation routes, safety exits, and stairwells—within modern high-rise buildings and high-occupancy venues:
1. Mixed-Use Complexes: Normally closed/normally open fire doors in large shopping malls, office buildings, and high-rise residential communities.
2. High-Occupancy Public Venues: Hospitals, school academic buildings, supermarkets, theaters, and large-scale sports stadiums.
3. Industrial & Critical Infrastructure: Fire compartmentation management in data centers (IDC rooms), modern manufacturing facilities, and warehousing & logistics parks.
