
XGN2-12 Metal-Enclosed Switchgear
The XGN2-12 Box-Type Fixed AC Metal-Enclosed Switchgear is an indoor high-voltage complete power distribution assembly specifically designed for 3.6–12 kV, 50 Hz three-phase AC systems, including single-busbar and sectionalized systems, double-busbar systems, and single-busbar systems with bypasses.

Core Structural Features
1. Robustness and High Insulation Rating: The cabinet structure is welded and assembled using high-quality angle steel, C-profiles, or G-profiles. The interior features full air insulation; air clearances between phases and between phases and ground are guaranteed to be ≥125mm. Furthermore, the unit is equipped with post insulators featuring extended creepage distances, significantly enhancing insulation stability.
2. Multi-Compartment Independent Isolation: The cabinet interior is strictly partitioned into distinct compartments: the circuit breaker compartment, busbar compartment, cable compartment, and relay compartment. Each compartment is physically isolated from the others by metal barriers and is equipped with an independent pressure relief channel, ensuring that localized faults do not propagate.
3. Superior Component Configuration: The main switching device can be flexibly configured with high-quality vacuum circuit breakers from series such as the ZN28-12 or VS1 (ZN63A)-12. The disconnector switches utilize either the GN30-12 rotary series or the GN22-12 high-current series.
4. Mandatory Mechanical “Five-Prevention” Interlocking: A mandatory mechanical interlocking system is implemented across the circuit breaker, the upper and lower disconnectors, the grounding switch, and the cabinet door. This interlocking mechanism is rigorous and reliable, effectively preventing all forms of human operational error.
